We are a small hobby farm in the Middle Peninsula of Virginia that knows times are tight. I feel I can help by selling my birds at reasonable rates so people can afford to become more self sufficient and I also needed a excuse to hatch more chicks :)
We take alot of pride in our birds. They are fed Blue Seal feeds, grain from local farmers, free choice oyster shells and vegetables along with a free range diet . We feed them garlic and let them dust bathe in wood ashes to naturally repel parasites. All the pictures on this site are of our own breeding stock and their eggs
Poultry give you lots in return like fresh eggs, meat, feathers for crafts and fly tying, down for pillows and fresh natural fertilizer.They are great for controlling insects, as bugs are a favorite food and poultry will spend most of the day hunting for them.
